Myself and other MaP group members visited Lisburn and the Ards Peninsula to attend the Linen Futures exhibition and to teach workshops as a part of the Linen Futures project in collaboration with R Space Gallery, Lisburn, and August Craft month in Northern Ireland.
The Indigo Shibori workshop was a lovely day.
We created stunning patterned and textured textiles with a variety of linen and other natural fibres and the beautiful, magical Indigo dye; evoking the Windswept Irish seas and shorelines.
