HEALING WORDS FROM THE SANCTUARY
12th – 30th AUGUST 2015
As part of the Healing Words project, women from the Sanctuary project at Bethel Church Newport have been working with myself and writer Clare Potterto produce poetry, prints and textile pieces, which are now on show at The Project Space in Newport. The exhibition will run until 30th August, and is open Tuesdays – Thursdays from 12am – 2pm or by appointment.
The Healing Words project uses creative writing and art as a tool for positive mental health and wellbeing. The project is a partnership between Gwent Arts in Health, Literature Wales, Newport Live Community Arts and Torfaen CBC. It works with a diverse range of groups across the greater Gwent area.
